Grandmas Beach House

Our Family's Manzanita beach House. My Favorite place on earth. Ive been going my whole life! I hope everyone have a magical place to visit like this. Even the smell brings all the happy memories to life again, as if they happened yesterday. When my grandma died, she left the house to my mom and my uncle. My uncle immediately wanted to sell. They have been quarreling over it and now it is on the market. Please send me your best wishes that it never sells, so we can keep our house in the family forever, along with the memories of baking blueberry muffins, walking on the beach, playing old board games, painting or coloring with my grandma, and laying under the table in front of the heater warming our cold feet.

  1. Ah, Parents (in this case your Grandma) think they are doing the right thing when they leave everything equally to siblings, but as your family has found out that is not the case. I hope your parents find the money to buy out uncle. Here's some tips: The price your parents pay should be about 20% less than the appraisal because that's what properties are selling for these days. And it should be less 6-7% because there would be no realtor involved. Good luck.

  2. We are going to rent it out for 200 a night if anyone is interested! Its a great location(a block away from the beach), and sleeps 10!
